Voices Carry Photography Project; Love is LOVE
February 11, 2023
United Parish of Upton
Join us on Saturday February 11th for Love is LOVE at The United Parish of Upton, a third gallery opening of the stunning LGBTQ+ photos taken by All Things Sparkley Photography by Chelsea Bradway. This one-night fundraiser will benefit both Southborough Safe Spaces and the Worcester LGBT Asylum Task Force, make us a part of your Valentine’s Day date night and celebrate the beauty and strength of our LGBTQ+ community. Refreshments will be served, stories will be shared, love will be felt.
Southborough Safe Spaces is an LGBTQ+ youth supporting interfaith group in Southborough. We are a self-funded group providing a safe, welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ youth of all backgrounds to be accepted and embraced at every step of their journey. We recognize that our participating youth needs to see more adults and families they identify without in the world.
The LGBT Asylum Task Force (https://www.lgbtasylum.org/) is a Hadwen Park church ministry that was formed in 2008. They welcome LGBTQ people from all countries and of all faith traditions as they provide housing, food, and connection to legal, medical, and mental resources at other local agencies. Asylum seekers coming to the US are not allowed to work for up to two years after arriving in the US. Their vital ministry provides comprehensive support for the entire duration of that two-year period in which it is needed.
This is a ticketed event, tickets may be purchased in advance and at the door. General admission is $20, family tickets are $50.
